Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.Northrop Grumman Mission Systems Field Engineering is seeking a highly motivated Associate Electronics Engineer or Electronics Engineer to join our Tactical Fighter Business This position will be based in Linthicum, MD and will require travel for short-term or long-term assignments at customer locations in support of ATP System efforts.
What You'll Get To Do:
Working for the Airborne Multi-Functions Sensors Division, the Associate Electronics Engineer or Electronics Engineer will be responsible for providing technical assistance with the installation and test support phase, and be team oriented, Position entails mission support of system integration and test, installation and checkout, operational maintenance, test equipment knowledge, software testing, flight test, in-field modifications, troubleshooting and repair of systems, and field support. The Associate Electronics Engineer or Electronics Engineer will be expected to follow the system(s) into the field and support other engineering activities associated with radar system sustainment. Extended working hours or shift work may be required to support surging activities.
Roles & Responsibilities:

Participate in all aspects of the system life cycle activities with a primary focus on hardware/software integration and sustainment related activities.
Participate in Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations as required.
Perform electronics/electrical troubleshooting for Prime Mission Equipment and related test equipment.
Ability to support data analysis, digital Instrumentation using special test equipment and software /hardware tools
Able to comfortably multitask while working in a team environment or independently.
Must be an effective communicator and possess good organizational skills to manage frequent intra-organizational and customer interactions.
Willingness to learn new things seeks out opportunities to add value.
Ability to prioritize projects and decision making.

Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related STEM field and a minimum of 6 months related experience.
6+ months experience with RF fundamentals, Electrical and Electronics theory
6+ months experience with lab support equipment such as digital oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers
Ability and willingness to travel to customer locations include business trips, long-term and short-term travel to customer facilities at domestic locations. Most travel to customer locations would occur after development efforts in Baltimore are complete or near completion.
Must have a current/active DoD secret clearance. Must be able to obtain special program access. Active Secret clearance and special program access is required to start. Must be able to maintain this level of clearance and program access for continued employment.

Primary Level Salary Range: $70,600.00 - $106,000.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $85,400.00 - $128,000.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
