Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is searching for an Integration and Test Electrical Engineer to support our Systems Engineering Integration & Test (SEIT) department. As a member of the SEIT department you'll work in a fast-paced team environment alongside physicists, design engineers, and superconducting foundry engineers to make our technologies a reality. This position will serve on-site at Sentinel Program, at our Woodland Hills, CA facility. This position will be 100% on-site.
Job Responsibilities
The candidate will serve as an Integration and Test Electrical Engineer for Sentinel Program, requiring the candidate to function in a dynamic multi-disciplinary environment. Daily responsibilities may include:
Support the installation, integration, and testing of Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and custom equipment used to further research efforts on superconducting microelectronic devices.
Identify, troubleshoot, and remediate equipment issues to support system build-out and sell-off.
Communicate project status to the Integration and Test (I&T) IPT Lead.
Collaborate with research scientists and systems engineers to perform system architecture characterization studies on various system components.
Design, develop, and implement testing methods for individual pieces of equipment (both custom and COTS) and entire systems.
Compile data and help to define changes required in testing methodology, equipment, testing procedures, manufacturing processes, and new testing requirements.
Performing hands-on electrical testing at CCA level test setup and execution
Performing hands-on electrical testing at a systems level
Incorporating hardware and/or software design changes
Documenting & dispositioning hardware discrepancies, pursuing root cause & corrective actions

Basic Qualifications for Associate Integration and Test Electrical Engineer:
Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 6 months of experience
Working knowledge in one of the following languages: MATLAB, Python, C, or C++
Active DoD Secret Level security clearance
Ability to work full-time onsite in Woodland Hills, CA
Demonstrated ability to lead out at solving problems and driving all tasks to completion
Ability to work at a fast pace, while multi-tasking, and still communicate effectively
Ability to work in a team environment, and lead small projects or teams
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Hands-on electrical testing and diagnostic experience
Experience in Test script development with HW interfaces
Experience working in C/C++/C#
Basic Qualifications for Integration and Test Electrical Engineer:
Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 2 years of experience, or a Master's degree in a STEM discipline
Working knowledge in one of the following languages: MATLAB, Python, C, or C++
Active DoD Secret Level security clearance
Ability to work full-time onsite in Woodland Hills, CA
Demonstrated ability to lead out at solving problems and driving all tasks to completion
Ability to work at a fast pace, while multi-tasking, and still communicate effectively

Preferred Qualifications:
Active TS/SCI with poly security clearance.
Experience working with MATLAB
Working knowledge of standard test equipment: network analyzers, oscilloscopes, waveform generators, synthesizers, digitizers, and/or signal analyzers.
Working knowledge of standard design components: filters, couplers, splitters, amplifiers, etc.
Familiarity with cryogenic test systems: dilution Refrigeration, 4 Kelvin cryo-coolers, Adiabatic Demagnetization Refrigeration (ADR) and liquid helium emersion.
Experience with Mission Systems standards/guidelines
Software Testing with data reduction and analysis
Experience with MES, or other digital work instruction platform
Experience working with operational hazards such as overhead lifting, and thermal chambers
Experience performing formal requirements decomposition and/or verification
Salary Range: $61,200.00 - $91,800.00Salary Range 2: $73,900.00 - $110,900.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
