This position is located in Sterling, VA. Only local candidates will be considered. No relocation provisions are available.

This position will report directly to the Antares Program Operations Manager (POM) to support the operational management of the new Antares A330 and MLV vehicles.
This includes 1) Support management of all Antares 330 and MLV integration/test/launch activities & personnel at Chandler, AZ and Wallops Island, VA; 2) Help oversee all supply chain activities for Antares A330 and MLV to include coordination between Program engineering and the Supply chain teams, 3) Support new/existing efficiency and operations' improvement efforts to make the MLV program competitive in the existing medium launch market. In addition, to the above, this position will lead the ongoing efforts to establish Concept of operations (ConOps) for both new Programs, as well as lead the detailed planning efforts that are required to map out all activities required to integrate, test, and launch the new vehicles as well as manage the work instruction efforts required to execute the operations. Lastly, this position will support the POM with monthly cost and schedule updates, weekly schedule support efforts for Wallops integration activities, as well as other budgetary and schedule exercises.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors of Engineering degree plus 5 years of integration and test experience of launch vehicles; Master's degree plus 3 years of integration and test experience of launch vehicles.
- Experience creating and managing ConOps flows for integration & test is required
- Experience writing new integration work instructions is required.
- Project management experience is required
- Travel estimated to be 10-15%
- No security clearance is required
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree is desirable
- 8 - 10 years of integration & test experience with launch vehicles.
-Antares experience and/or liquid rocket experience is highly desirable
- Experience with MES is highly desirable
- Supply chain management experience is desirable to include experience with Costpoint
- CAM experience is highly desirable.
- MS project experience is highly desirable
Salary Range: $129,900.00 - $194,900.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
