The Program Manager will direct all phases of programs from inception through completion. Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs. Participates in the negotiation of contract and contract changes. Coordinates the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract. Establishes design concepts, criteria and engineering efforts for product research, development, integration and test. Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications.
What You'll Get To Do:

Provide IPT leadership for Hardware Design and Analysis team
Lead team through design releases and major design reviews
Oversee supplier management activities for program subsystem procurements
Create presentations and brief status to Advance Program leadership
Conduct Risk, Opportunity, and Issues management for your scope
Manage the budget and schedule for your scope on one or multiple programs
Support the programmatic and technical execution within a rapid development program.
Support staffing planning and estimation and provides resolution to engineering design conflicts and test problems.

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
You Will Bring These Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and 6 years of related experience or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree.
Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance within scope and the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP)
year experience leading a team performing design and analysis scope
Experience aligning teams, organizations or employee resource groups to achieve a common goal.
Experience with overseeing budget management, schedule management, and vendor coordination.
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
These Qualifications Are Nice to Have:

Master's degree in engineering or a related technical discipline.
The ability to apply knowledge, insights and understanding of business and financial concepts, tools and processes to the benefit of program decisions, actions, and performance.
2+ Yrs of experience demonstrating excellent technical leadership, interpersonal, and oral and written communication skills, effectively engaging with internal staff, external customers, and partners.
Experience with detailed design and engineering and manufacturing development.
Experience with rapid prototyping and demonstration.
Experience with hypersonics and hypersonic environments.
Salary Range: $135,100.00 - $224,000.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
