As the administrative assistant you will play a key part in driving operational excellence by ensuring seamless coordination of meetings, travel, and program activities. As a valued team member, you will have the opportunity to interact with various stakeholders, contribute to special event planning, and help create a collaborative and efficient work environment.
Essential functions may include, but are not limited to:

Manage office tasks: file management, calls, and mail correspondence.
Arrange meetings, teleconferences, and travel; prepare expense reports.
Maintain program calendars and resolve office operation issues.
Coordinate office workspace planning and liaise with facilities and IT.
Interface with program personnel and customers; manage site access.
Support meeting material preparation and collaborate with administrative assistants.
Plan and manage special events, including catering logistics.
Compile and report information relevant to supervisory assignments.
Skills for success:

Strong editing skills for spelling and grammar.
Experience in organizing and managing schedules, meetings, and travel arrangements.
Strong organization & collaboration skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with personnel at all levels of the organization.
Basic Qualifications:
This requisition may be filled at the
Administrative Assistant - Level 1 OR Administrative Assistant - Level 2 based on the qualifications below.
Administrative Assistant - Level 1

High School diploma or equivalent
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret and Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.
Demonstrated ability with Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, Teams, SharePoint)
Administrative Assistant - Level 2

High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years additional education and/or related experience.
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret and Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.
Demonstrated ability with Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, Teams, SharePoint)
Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar role.
Familiarity with Concur, ITRIP, I-Buy, NG My IT, or SAP.
Experience in managing calendars for multiple stakeholders.
* Active Secret or Top Secret clearance.
Primary Level Salary Range: $38,600.00 - $64,300.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $45,800.00 - $76,400.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
