Northrop Grumman is seeking Associate PATHWAYS Software Engineer or PATHWAYS Software Engineer . This position will be located at our Space sector in Colorado Springs, CO. This position will be in the Pathways rotational program where there will be three rotation opportunities within engineering.
The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman's Missel Defense Systems Business Unit.
Roles and Responsibilities
Translate requirements into actionable software tasks. Analyze running software in order to report problems and/or fix them. Document software and user interfaces for contract-deliverable documents. Collaborating with senior leaders. Approaching problems and creating solutions. Proactively learning about new technologies
Basic Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications for an Associate Software Engineer :
• Be completing or has completed their Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
• Be majoring in or having majored in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) degree
• Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)
• The ability to obtain Special Access Program within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs
Basic Qualifications for a Software Engineer:
• Be completing or has completed their Master's degree from an accredited institution
• Be majoring in or having majored in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) degree

Preferred Qualifications for both levels:
Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.00/4.0 or higher
Experience with C/C++ and Object Oriented Programming

Pathways Software Engineer: $81,300 to $121,900

Primary Level Salary Range: $67,300.00 - $100,900.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
