The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman's Business Management Organization.
Roles and Responsibilities to include but not limited to:
Able to apply principles of accounting to analyze general ledger account balances, researching and processing corrections. Candidate must be able to understand the concept of overhead application and able to perform quarterly validations. Responsible for ensuring non labor transfer and food service requests are in compliance with policy and processed timely. Responsible for uploading and reviewing Project Master Data requests and ensuring all required data fields are correctly completed and uploaded. Interact with customers on daily bases assisting them with research, inquiries and requests. Data entry is required, user will review and process large volume of Café invoices.

This requisition may be filled at either an Associate Cost Accountant (A01).
Basic Qualifications for an Associate Cost Accountant (A01):
A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:
Be completing or has completed their Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
Be majoring in or having majored in a Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite). Final approved U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special Access may be required to start.
Preferred Qualifications
Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.25/4.0 or higher
Previous internship/co-op or other work experience, leadership & teamwork, capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and activities (professional/community/extracurricular).
Knowledge of the SAP accounting system
Strong computer skills, EXCEL and WORD
Pay Range
Associate Cost Accountant (A01): $45,000 - $81,200
