Our Product and Growth teams are seeking a contract SEO Editor to help us grow the audience for one of the best health-improving products in the world.
As SEO Editor, you will be responsible for ensuring that the published SEO content on the Noom blog meets the highest standards of editorial and brand excellence. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing, editing, and publishing SEO content. Working directly with the SEO agency with whom we are contracting, you will be responsible for maintaining the speed, medical accuracy, and consistency in brand voice in a fast-moving SEO content engine.

This is expected to be a contract position to start, at approximately 40 hours per week. Potential to become full time.
What You'll Be Doing
- Review proposals/outlines of SEO content
- Serve as the editor/reviewer of each SEO article
- Ensure each piece of SEO content goes through expert review and/or (potentially) legal review
- Work closely with the SEO agency to perfect the process of content ideation and creation
- Maintain brand voice and editorial excellence in the SEO content
- Work closely with the growth team on reviewing SEO metrics and proposing new and better ways to generate effective, traffic-driving content
What We're Looking For
- Bachelors degree or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience as a digital editor
- Top-notch writing and editing skills
- Proven track record of creating highly optimized content that ranks on Google
- Excellent project management skills
- Strong attention to detail!
- Experience with balancing brand voice and SEO optimization techniques
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, experiment-driven environment
- Experience with analytics and how to use it to drive future content planning
- Experience working with or for a technology company a plus
- Background in health, wellness and/or psychology content a big plus
Salary
- The hourly compensation for this position is $62 an hour, for 40 hours per week.
