The Allocation team plays a critical role in how Nike shows up at retail to our consumers. It's about getting product to the consumer when they want it, where they want it! You are an influencer, using in-season consumer insights to influence upstream assortment decisions. In this role, you will make the assortment plan come to life in our stores & position inventory to efficiently fulfill consumer demand across our physical and digital platforms. You will play a key role in how we support the future of Nike Stores through Allocation!

Who you will work with

You are part of a collaborative team operating in a fast paced, evolving environment. You will build and maintain strong relationships across teams, which includes partnership across Location Planning, Assortment Planning, and Merchandising teams. You are also the main connection point between the field and the supply chain.

What you will work on

  • Develop and lead the execution of allocation strategies for the Nike Owned Stores and Digital businesses
  • Determine appropriate load-in quantities by store for each style/color, in accordance with the assortment plan
  • Determine replenishment quantities to support WOS, presentation minimum and store capacity targets
  • Create, evolve, and utilize reports and tools to analyze your business to support decisions that improve sales, inventory turn and ultimately profitability
  • Create a cohesive team, delivering results by ensuring that consistent tools and reports are utilized by all allocators
  • Lead the effort to manage inventory in-season, highlighting risk and making cancel recommendations
  • Understand style productivity and prioritize accordingly, ensuring our top styles are available when and where consumers want them
  • Create and maintain size curves to ensure core sizes are protected
  • Partner with Customer Service & Supply Chain to ensure units arrive at stores in an efficient & timely manner
  • Partner with Merchandising and Assortment Planning teams to create in-season distribution plans by store, helping bring to life the best of Nike effectively, verbally and in writing

In this role, you will make the assortment plan come to life in our stores & position inventory to efficiently fulfill consumer demand across our physical and digital platforms. You will play a key role in how we support the future of Nike Stores through Allocation!

  • 4 years related allocation, planning or retail experience
  • 2 years' additional retail experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training
  • Proven experience applying data to capture trends to make decisions that will positively impact the business
  • Strong working knowledge of retail math
  • Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing
  • High level proficiency in Excel with a demonstrated history of developing tools and reports utilizing complex formulas, pivot tables, and other advanced functions (preferred, not required)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment balancing multiple priorities with a strong focus on collaboration
  • Ability to handle ambiguity & champion change, proven ability to be a vocal and influential leader across peers and cross-functional partners
  • Ability to travel up to 5%
