WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

As our Senior Product Line Manager, Promo Apparel, you will oversee all facets of the product creation process from brief to delivery. This is a highly strategic role, managing multiple product lines across our Sports Marketing portfolio of assets. We are looking for someone that has a strong business background, excellent communication and presentation abilities, operational excellence, and passion for creating product that meets the needs of the team sport athlete. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of the global sports landscape, including a working knowledge of key events, federations, teams, colors, seasonal cadence, and sport rules.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

In this role the ideal candidate will be responsible for crafting insightful and impactful product briefs, analyzing consumer and competitive trends in the market and bringing quality product to market that solves problems for athletes and meets margin targets. They will own strategy and the successful execution of the line plan architecture in partnership with Merchandising. They will also be responsible for creating impactful presentations at the appropriate gates to advise and inspire triad and downstream partners around our seasonal strategies and key stories.

WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?

This individual will lead product strategy, consumer work and product creation processes for the overall product line in collaboration with the Product Director and Merchandising team. They will work closely with Sports Marketing to determine the needs of the assets. They will spend time with consumers, the product creation triad (Design, Development, Tech Design) and merchandising partners to conduct analyses of the current business and assortment opportunities. They will also lead the design and development teams to hit key deliverables each season, including all critical meetings and creation deadlines.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING?

  • Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years experience in a product-related role or relevant combination of education, experience, or training
  • Creativity and passion for elite athletes, apparel creation, and the sport consumer
  • Understanding Elite athletes and their performance needs (aesthetic, muses, preferences, relevant brands, interests & behaviors)
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong business acumen & strong analytical abilities
  • General understanding of apparel product construction and sourcing process
  • Able to lead and influence a team and enable collaborative working relationships
  • Attention to detail and deadlines
  • Solutions-oriented, open to raising hand and proposing new product and process ideas
  • Experience creating cut and sew performance product is preferred
  • Experience monitoring and understanding trends, and applying that understanding to product briefs is preferred
  • Vital Skills/Tools: Visual Tool Creation (Powerpoint/Keynote/Miro), Excel Skills, Retail Math, Smartsheets
