Our NA Nike Direct Sr. Director of Stores is responsible for leading and managing a dynamic, multi-concept, in-line retail store business to achieve sustainable sales and profit growth by developing strategies that enhance the Nike Brand in Retail. You will lead and influence a multi-store territory of talent and be responsible for developing the vision and business strategies to achieve sales, operations and organizational goals of customer satisfaction, profitability and efficiency.

What will you work on

In this role, you'll develop strategic and operational plans for the territory and enable teams to enhance the Nike experience for our consumers. You'll lead territory performance and implement opportunities for growth by planning and driving strategies to increase sales while controlling operational costs. You will influence across and within Nike partnering with cross-functional teams to enhance the service experience for consumers and increase profitability, including identifying, planning and executing growth and expansion opportunities. In addition, you are accountable for the overall leadership and people management of the territory, including human resource planning, training and development of high performing results driven teams, managing performance, rewards and recognition programs, succession and career planning, coaching and counseling.

Who will you work with

You will partner with various cross-functional partners including Store Operations, Human Resources, Merchandising, Planning, and Loss Prevention to implement initiatives, which you will use to drive solutions and actions that will contribute to organizational health and the achievement of business objectives.

What you bring to Nike

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training
  • 15 or more years of retail management, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in multi-unit management
  • Experience leading large teams in an Omni-Channel Retail environment
  • Ability to lead and influence others, including peers, to accomplish objectives
  • Proven success leading and driving change to achieve business results
  • Financial analysis and profit and loss responsibility
  • Demonstrated team leadership abilities delivering inspiration, structure, and development across a diverse team
  • Knowledge of insights and trends to advise and inform regional/global strategies
