We are looking for an expert digital marketer, with deep understanding of the young Korean consumers- their online shopping behavior and lifestyle- to make data-based assumptions that serve as key drivers in delivering brand and business objectives. As Senior Digital Marketing Specialist, the candidate should be able to create optimal digital brand experience for consumers incorporating key moments and direct-to-consumer channels.

Being a strong communicator and team player is a crucial part of the job, as new and different digital capabilities may be involved each time brand commerce experiences are brought to life. An understanding of marketing technology and consumer data is also expected.

  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in marketing (with 3+ years in digital marketing)
  • Experience in driving marketing campaigns with strong brand impact (sports and lifestyle/sportswear category related experience is a plus)
  • Strong oral and written communication skills (in both English and Korean), including copy writing, meeting facilitation, making strategic recommendations and persuasive presentations to leadership.
  • Hands-on expertise in marketing analytics, deriving useful insights and applying findings, along with creative marketing planning skills.
  • Excellent project leadership skills with proven ability to juggle between the details and big picture, manage multiple and competing projects and priorities as a team player with experience working collaboratively and effectively in a matrix organization.
  • Initiatives on a culture of always-on testing and learning, including the rapid application of consumer signals into strategy, planning, and content iteration.
  • Ability to thrive within a fast-paced, high energy, skilled team of marketers that have a passion for sport and culture and create meaningful connections between consumers and the Nike brand.
  • Talent for designing impactful digital marketing ideas based on a deep understanding of Korean youth trends across sports, culture and fashion.

WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

As part of the Digital Marketing team, you will be reporting to the Digital Marketing Senior Manger based in Korea. There are multiple cross-functional partners you will meet while carrying out key seasonal marketing initiatives, including Nike Direct Digital Commerce (NDDC), Brand Management, Creative, Analytics, and Media teams. You will also work with agency partners for project planning and execution needs.

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

You will be an integral member in orchestrating and leading Nike's digital efforts, specifically in the sports (running, football, training) and sportswear category. You will be creating end-to-end consumer journeys from strategy to execution, creating a holistic journey for consumers across the ecosystem. You are expected to utilize digital capabilities to maximize the channel and elevate the consumer brand experience- resulting in an uplift of member engagement, retention and organic traffic. Your objective would be to establish Nike App/Nike.com as a pinnacle destination for everything Nike.

You will also plan and execute centralized, seasonal engagement plans and marketing campaigns featuring priority product and brand stories. You will leverage planning and analytic insights while collaborating with cross-channel teams to develop digital marketing plans for football, running, sportswear etc. You will also deliver regular performance analytics and incorporate them into the way we connect with our consumers, ultimately to meet brand and business objectives and promote growth.

  • Act as subject matter expert of the Nike owned platforms (Nike.com/Nike App), providing knowledge of the digital capabilities to maximize the channel to provide the most premium brand experience to consumers and drive member engagement and retention.
  • Drive creative digital offense with disruptive ideas based on deep understanding of youth culture and trend. Measure and analyse digital marketing activities with quantifiable outcomes and KPIs, ensuring accountability to Brand and Business.
  • Strategically plan and operate city-led digital consumer engagement aligned with seasonal key campaigns.
  • Provide clear production briefs to inform development and delivery of channel right content to match consumer intent and experience needs.
  • Partner with cross-channel teams to enable connected journeys across the ecosystem and optimize journey to provide best digital shopping experience to consumers.
  • Operationalize territory playbooks and toolkits with channel guidelines, member-journey frameworks, digital marketing capability use cases and best practices informed by data and insights to drive efficiency, consistency, and effectiveness.
  • Partner with Geo and Global teams in the delivery/execution of new digital capabilities and innovative test and learn pilot programs for the city.
  • Understand and apply analytics to improve the way we communicate and connect with our consumers across all digital channels and stores environments.
