We are currently seeking a Lead Graphic Designer, Women's Footwear to shape the visual language of Nike Women's Footwear across multiple sport and lifestyle categories. We are looking for a visionary designer, an inspiring team player, and a cultural storyteller with a deep understanding of graphic application on product.This designer thrives at the intersection of fashion, sport, and culture. They are passionate about connecting with women's communities globally and translating those insights into compelling, expressive footwear graphics. They can drive original concepts, bring a strategic design point of view, and elevate the work of their teammates and collaborators.

You will lead the development of seasonal and long-term graphic narratives for Women's Footwear, working closely with Footwear Designers, Color Designers, and Product Management to bring elevated design to life on some of Nike's most iconic and future-forward products. From conceptual research to final execution, your work will include:

  • Authoring compelling graphic stories and design systems for footwear uppers, outsoles, sockliners, packaging, and branding.
  • Presenting ideas and stories through mood boards, mockups, visual centers, and storytelling decks.
  • Overseeing projects from kickoff through execution while ensuring brand integrity and design excellence.
  • Supporting and mentoring designers on the team while contributing to a culture of collaboration and innovation.

WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH

You will report to the Design Director of Women's Footwear Graphics and work alongside a passionate team of graphic designers. You will collaborate with cross-functional partners including Footwear Designers, Color Designers, Material Designers, Product Managers, Developers, and Brand Teams. You will also be a key voice in creative strategy sessions and consumer concepting across multiple categories within Women's.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING?

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in graphic or product design, preferably with experience in footwear, apparel, or consumer products.
  • Bachelor's degree in design or related field or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
  • A compelling, well-curated portfolio that demonstrates:
  • Strong conceptual storytelling through graphics.
  • Design excellence across materials, colors, finishes, packaging, and branding.
  • Ability to create across a wide range of aesthetics and consumers.
  • Proven success designing graphics for physical products with a clear understanding of scale, placement, and production constraints.
  • Ability to translate consumer, cultural, and trend insights into meaningful visual stories.
  • High proficiency in Adobe Illustrator; knowledge of Photoshop, Grasshopper, VectorRaster, Patternodes, TouchDesigner, and 3D tools a plus.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills with an ability to influence and inspire across teams.
  • Strategic thinking and the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders with grace.
  • Experience mentoring or leading junior designers a plus.
  • Passion for elevating women's stories through design and sport.
