Communications Specialist & Media Relations - Jordan, Basket, Agile
We are looking for a hands-on, collaborative and agile communications professional to join our Paris Communications and Media Relations team as Communications Specialist. The ideal candidate, is familiar with the Jordan brand universe, and is enthusiastic about basketball and sports in general.

WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH
You will report to the Director of Communications, France, and work closely with your teammates in Paris, as well as with the broader EMEA Consumer & Brand Communications teams. You will also collaborate directly with the Jordan brand team and relevant sports brand managers, ensuring a cohesive and aligned approach to storytelling and brand engagement across multiple sports.
You will be part of the NIKE Communications and Media Relations team in Paris and will report to the Director of Communications, France. The individual will work with communications peers across Consumer Product Brand Communication within EMEA as well as the Global. This role has a specific focus on Sport Performance, Culture and Style and will work particularly closely with Nike's integrated brand marketing teams. Because of the scope of this role, it will be expected to work across other fields of play- Football, Running, Training, Basketball, Tennis, and their influence in culture and style, in service of business priorities.
WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON
You will be responsible for supporting and executing communication strategies that elevate the Jordan brand, basketball and broader sports (Agile), while aligning with Nike's overall priorities in France.
You will:
- Develop and execute strategic communications plans for France
- Seek outside-world opportunities that takes us to new spaces and the edges of sport and sport culture
- Re-establish and strengthen authentic connections with key media/content creators in France
- Be an architect of a new media / medium network for Nike focused on sportswear, style, basket and sports with a focus on youth and women's.
- Anticipate, navigate and manage issues as needed
- Keep up to date with emerging trends in fashion, design, film, art, media and technology
- Create, lead and execute key communication initiatives, events and sport and athlete moments within France.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Proven experience in communications, PR or media relations, ideally within the sports, culture or lifestyle sectors.
- Understanding of basketball and Jordan brand culture, with interest in broader team sports such as football.
- Experience supporting events, building media/content creators mappings, and preparing press materials.
- Willingness to take initiative, learn quickly and operate with a growth mindset.
- Strong team spirit and ability to collaborate across diverse functions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in French and English.
- Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail.
