We are looking for a talented and experienced Android Developer. You will be responsible for building and managing our industry-leading B2B Commerce mobile app and future Optimizely mobile experiences. This is a part of our end-to-end Digital Experience solution recognized as a leader by Gartner.
As a Senior Android Developer, you will:
- Join a global team that works across countries collaboratively to meet agile commitments.
- Develop and maintain B2B Commerce mobile apps and SDKs powering mobile experiences based on specifications and development standards.
- Troubleshoot, analyze, and recommend adjustments to the software to improve performance or maintainability.
- Contribute to the architectural discussion.
- Be prepared to lead the team when needed.
- Be open to any technology which drives the company forward.
Your Skills and Experience:
- 5 + years experience in Native Android Development.
- You know MVVM, Kotlin, Java, Dagger, Coroutines, Android Architecture Components and all the best practices and goodies that come with android.
- Familiarity with RESTful API.
- You know how to handle any third party library.
- Knowledge of architectural principles and solid understanding of the full spectrum of technologies/patterns used in mobile development, such as push notifications, cache/memory handling, storage/database interactio, etc.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git.
- Quick learner with good problem-solving skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Good skills in English, both written and spoken.
It is nice if you have:
- Experience with Xamarin Native
- Experience with android ndk
- Knowledge of low-level C/C++ based libraries
- Experience with iOS
- Experience with Declarative UI (Flutter, Jetpack Compose)
- Experience with CI/CD
- Experience with Fastlane
