As a member of our BlueXP product marketing team, you will leverage strong product marketing competencies to develop compelling messaging and content that communicates our unique business value, drives BlueXP awareness and adoption, and helps grow NetApp revenue. In this role you will need to understand the market pressures customers are facing, know how we can help solve those challenges with BlueXP technology, and create the assets to tell that story in a powerful, credible, compelling way that the market can easily understand, and our sellers can effectively communicate.

This is a highly cross-functional position where you will partner closely with Product, Solutions, GTM, and Sales teams. You should be results-driven, market-focused, technologically savvy, and skilled at building internal relationships and external partnerships. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and driven individual to work on a growth portfolio and make a global impact.

Job Requirements

Essential Functions:

  • Become a subject matter expert on your product. Know how it works, what it does, the use cases it addresses, and the benefits it provides.
  • Use strong communication skills and product marketing competencies to create compelling messaging and content that effectively communicates functionality and business value.
  • Deliver a standard Bill of Materials (BOM) which includes messaging, sales and technical presentations, sales and customer buyers' guides, blogs, website content, and other assets.
  • Find creative ways to get your message out, driving awareness and enablement.
  • Ensure team-oriented alignment, consistent messaging, and a unified approach that enables us to deliver more with less.

Key Qualifications:

  • A customer-first approach with the ability to understand, simplify, and communicate how technology products and solutions solve business problems.
  • Proven storyteller with experience crafting clear and compelling messaging and developing strong content.
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to set priorities, operate, and drive results independently.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities.
  • Ability to work effectively and build strong working relationships across functions, with external parties, and at all levels up to and including Senior Vice President

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the discipline of product marketing in the technology sector. Experience in storage and/or data management is a plus.
  • Demonstrated track record for understanding, distilling, and communicating key aspects of how technology solutions solve business problems.
  • Understanding of the public cloud computing market, infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platforms as a service (PaaS), and cloud marketplace commerce a plus.
  • Experience working with a geographically dispersed team to meet deadlines and deliverable commitments.

Education

BS/BA degree or equivalent related experience

The base salary hiring wage range for this position which the Company reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position in the specified geographic areas or locations, is $146,700-$206,250. Final compensation will be dependent on various factors relevant to the position and candidate such as geographical location, candidate qualifications, certifications, relevant job-related work experience, education, skillset and other relevant business and organizational factors, consistent with applicable law. In addition, the position may include some of the following comprehensive benefits such Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, 401(K), Paid Time off (PTO), sick time, leave of absence as per the FMLA and other relevant leave laws, Company bonus/commission, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU's).
