Job Summary

Reporting to the International Tax Senior Manager, the International Tax Manager will become a member of a global tax department responsible for international tax aspects of corporate income tax compliance, planning, and accounting for income taxes for the United States.

Tax Provision
• Review the quarterly foreign packages to ensure foreign current and deferred tax provisions are properly calculated and rolled forward, ensure NOLs, if any, agreed to income tax returns.
• Prepare quarterly GILTI, FDII, BEAT, and Subpart F calculations
• Prepare/review quarterly FIN48 roll forward.
• Review quarterly foreign payables reconciliations and tax account roll-forwards, payments, refunds.
• Research/review foreign statutory income tax rate changes ensure reflected in provision model.

Tax Compliance
• Prepare/review the US international aspects of the international income tax workpapers and review foreign tax returns (5471/8858/1118 etc.).
• Work to ensure timely filings of statutory financial statements, review foreign local income tax returns prepared by local accounting firms, ensure returns filed timely.
• Prepare/reconcile return to provision ("RTP"), record RTP in provision model; work with finance colleagues to ensure the RTP entries are reflected in the local set of books.

Project Management
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve NetApp financial and accounting goals.
• Perform research and advise on local country tax technical topics and positions.
• Coordinate third-party consultants where necessary.

Job Requirements

• Researching and monitoring appropriate federal, state and local tax regulations and obligations.
• Preparing appropriate tax forms and instruments for filing with federal, state and local jurisdictions.
• Helping other business units stay informed about tax implications of their operation.
• Compiling and analyzing tax data and providing reports to management.

Education

• Minimum of 6-8 years of relevant experience
• Mix of public accounting and large corporate tax departments

IC - Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience.

Mgr & Exec - Typically requires a minimum of 6 years of related experience.

The base salary hiring wage range for this position which the Company reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position in the specified geographic areas or locations, is $122,490-172,150. Final compensation will be dependent on various factors relevant to the position and candidate such as geographical location, candidate qualifications, certifications, relevant job-related work experience, education, skillset and other relevant business and organizational factors, consistent with applicable law. In addition, the position may include some of the following comprehensive benefits such Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, 401(K), Paid Time off (PTO), sick time, leave of absence as per the FMLA and other relevant leave laws, Company bonus/commission, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU's).
