Requisition Processor
Today• Winchester, VA
Overview
To process requests of inventory and supplies through the automated purchasing system. Distribute such work to others to maintain even workload. Monitor stock levels and requisition for depleted stock. Provide customer service for end users. Manage stock and distribution of current materials and forms for marketing and member products. Resolve escalated issues. Work is performed in an industrial, air conditioned environment, and involves tasks where hands and clothing may become soiled. Protective clothing and shoes are provided.
Responsibilities
- Initiate reorder requisitions through Procurement via automated inventory system
- Monitor low level items and requests review by Marketing and Forms Management
- Maintain and coordinate successful and efficient inventory and assembly of multiple member packets
- Maintain receipt, system entry and quality of requisitions
- Assist Plant Property Control Specialist with maintaining asset inventory
- Identify and recommend process improvements
- Coach, guide and mentor staff
- Produces and distributes standard reports
- Ensure adherence to Navy Federal policies and procedures, and safety regulations
- Serve as supervisor in their absence of the incumbent
- Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications
- Experience performing clerical or administrative duties/responsibilities
- Experience in maintaining inventory
- Working knowledge of automated purchasing/inventory systems
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Effective skill in communicating effectively and tactfully with all levels of employees and vendors
- Effective word processing and spreadsheet software skills
- Effective skill leading, guiding & mentoring others
- Effective skill exercising initiative and using good judgment to make sound decisions

- Working knowledge of Navy Federal organizational structure and facilities
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PM
