Overview
The Compensation Consultant supports the design, development, and implementation of competitive and equitable compensation programs across the organization. Working closely with HR Business Partners and business leaders, this role focuses on delivering effective compensation solutions that align with organizational goals while gaining increasing responsibility in project management and strategic advisory.
Responsibilities
- Partner with HR Business Partners and business leaders to assist in compensation program design, policy application, and market competitiveness analysis.
- Develop and maintain consultative partnerships with business unit leaders to understand their strategic priorities and talent needs; collaborate closely to translate enterprise-level compensation philosophy and programs into tailored, actionable strategies that support business objectives and drive alignment at the unit level.
- Support and contribute to the end-to-end execution of compensation projects such as annual salary reviews (merit, bonus) and program enhancements.
- Ensure the execution of salary reviews, promotion reviews, pay adjustments and other compensation-related transactions.
- Analyze compensation data, market trends, and internal pay practices to provide recommendations supporting talent attraction and retention.
- Collaborate with Finance, HR, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment of compensation solutions with business objectives.
- Assist in the development and implementation of compensation initiatives focused on pay equity, job evaluation, and incentive pay strategies.
- Participate in communication and training efforts to ensure stakeholders understand compensation program changes.
- Help drive process improvement initiatives to enhance compensation program delivery and effectiveness.
- Monitor compliance with legal and regulatory compensation requirements.
- Participate in and occasionally lead small-scale compensation projects, such as process improvements, research initiatives and annual compensation processes (merit, bonus, etc.).
- Utilize data analysis tools to prepare reports and support decision-making for compensation programs.
- Support collaboration within HR teams and across organizational functions on compensation-related projects.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
- 2-5 years' experience in compensation, HR, or related field preferably within corporate or consulting environments.
- Working knowledge of compensation design principles, market benchmarking, and pay structure management.
- Effective analytical skills with ability to interpret compensation data.
- Effective relationship building, negotiation and facilitation skills
- Effective skill presenting findings, conclusions, alternatives, and information clearly and concisely
- Proficiency in Excel and HRIS systems; experience with compensation data platforms (e.g., Mercer, PayScale) is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to engage and influence stakeholders at various levels.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with moderate complexity.
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PM
