Senior Director Business Technology

What You'll Do: 

  • Provide leadership to a growing team of business engagement managers, systems analysts, administrators, and engineers responsible for overall delivery of core business systems across all functions (Marketing, Sales, Support, Customer Success, Finance and HR) 
  • Partner with key stakeholders to facilitate the planning and road-mapping process, provide oversight of solutions delivery, resolve escalated issues, and facilitate communication on any critical issues 
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with leaders on how systems capabilities can solve their business problems, work to translate business needs into technology solutions and push for business clarity of strategy where needed 
  • Recruit and build a high performing team with a strong focus on business value through coaching, fostering accountability, innovation and teamwork, while effectively delegating work for successful achievement of goals and objectives 
  • Evaluate emerging and new technologies. Actively collaborate with business stakeholders to derive and drive value from existing and new system technology investments 
  • Build and maintain internal delivery process to manage the full application life cycle: Requirements Gathering Architecture, Development, User Acceptance, Roll Out, Support
  • Create a technology to business feedback loop with other Operations leaders, helping to make iterative improvements to business processes
  • Manage data governance processes and adherence of guidelines between internal business units and systems
  • Own and manage applications budget and prioritization with business leaders to ensure investments are aligned with business requirements and consistently manage to ensure within plan 

 

What We're Looking For:

  • 10+ years managing and delivering enterprise applications/business systems portfolio
  • 7+ years of experience building and leading teams on high growth, global organizations
  • Proven and current experience managing an expansive, cross functional business application portfolio which includes; Salesforce.com (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CPQ), Marketo/Eloqua, NetSuite, Anaplan, Workday and boundary applications 
  • Visible leadership skills and executive presence; demonstrated ability to provide thought leadership, think strategically and effectively communicate vision and influence across the organization
  • Outstanding ability collaborating with business stakeholder and executive teams to align on cross-functional processes and deliver large scale business and digital transformation initiatives 
  • Adept at inspiring behavior change through motivating teams, planning initiatives, designating priorities, and being decisive when faced with ambiguity 
  • Experience building, leading and managing a global, distributed team with an international presence
  • Able to think independently and consider cross-functional/downstream impacts
  • Ability to build and lead multi-functional relationships
  • High level of technical curiosity to learn and apply new technologies
  • BS or BA preferred. PMP, NetSuite, Salesforce or Agile Certifications are all highly desirable

 

The posted pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the compensation for this position and is subject to change based on business need. To determine a successful candidate’s starting pay, we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location, an evaluation of the candidate’s skills and experience, market demands, and internal parity.

For roles with on-target-earnings (OTE), the pay range includes both base salary and target incentive compensation. Target incentive compensation for some roles may include a ramping draw period. Compensation is higher for those who exceed targets. Candidates may receive more information from the recruiter.
