Head of Creative
As the Head of Creative for Navan AI, you will spearhead the creation of a creative studio from the ground up. You’ll be responsible for architecting the studio’s vision, team, and operating frameworks, delivering innovative, high-impact assets for performance marketing, organic social, and content aimed at building community and delighting end-users and prosumers.
You’ll set the creative bar, drive execution across all content types, and cultivate a studio culture that champions bold ideas, rapid iteration, and measurable results. What You’ll Do
- Studio Founding & Leadership: Build, recruit, and mentor a best-in-class creative team; establish efficient workflows, processes, and standards for an agile, high-volume in-house studio serving multiple content channels.
- Creative Direction: Lead the end-to-end creation of performance marketing assets, organic social content, and community-driven creative, ensuring every piece feels differentiated and user-obsessed.
- AI Integration & Innovation: Champion new creative approaches leveraging AI tools for ideation, production, personalization, and measurement. Push boundaries of what’s possible in digital content creation.
- Content Strategy & Execution: Partner closely with growth, brand, product, and community leads to develop content strategies that drive measurable user activation, engagement, and advocacy.
- Performance Mindset: Design and deliver data-informed creative that’s relentlessly optimized for user response, across paid and organic channels.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Operate as a trusted partner to stakeholders in product, marketing, community, and data,ensuring creative output ladders up to key business priorities.
- Studio Culture Champion: Cultivate an environment of innovation, continuous learning, and creative experimentation to attract and retain world-class creative talent.
What We’re Looking For
- 7+ years in a creative leadership role, preferably in a fast-growing tech, digital agency, or AI-focused organization, with at least 3 years managing or building creative teams.
- Proven experience building, scaling, and optimizing in-house creative studios or content teams from the ground up.
- Deep portfolio of work across performance marketing, social, and community content, with examples of measurable business impact at scale.
- Hands-on expertise using AI and digital tools in creative workflows, from ideation to production and optimization.
- Demonstrated ability to blend creative vision with operational rigor; excels at managing multiple projects, timelines, and stakeholders.
- Exceptional leadership, mentorship, and communication skills; able to inspire creatives and influence cross-functionally.
- Digital-first mindset and up-to-date knowledge of creator economy, prosumer trends, and emerging technology.
- High comfort working in dynamic, ambiguous environments and shaping new systems/processes.
