If you’re passionate about technology and want the chance to shine in a Fortune 100 company, consider Nationwide! As an IT associate or intern, you’ll bring the knowledge, experience and passion needed to deliver our IT strategy and ultimately, the Nationwide strategy.
Based on your interests, you’ll be assigned to one of Nationwide’s 200+ Agile, team-based Software Development lines in core and emerging technologies such as Java, Ruby, Angular, Mobile and Informatica, to name a few. Other learning opportunities exist within the areas of data analytics, cybersecurity and cloud.
During our 12-week program (May – August, 40 hours/week), you’ll have an opportunity to mentor, job shadow and network with talented IT professionals and senior-level executives throughout Nationwide IT. The work you perform will be meaningful and integral to Nationwide’s operations and business objectives.
Additionally, you will have an opportunity to participate in our Nationwide-hosted 21-hour hackathon, where you will work closely with business partners to brainstorm, engage in collateral computer programming and ultimately create new business applications.
 We’re looking for the best and brightest.
You’ll learn a lot while you’re here, but we want you to arrive prepared to succeed. Ideal candidates are pursuing a bachelor’s or advanced degree in a technology-related discipline, possess a solid track record of academic excellence (minimum 3.2 GPA preferred) and a strong commitment to teamwork and learning, and are within 2-3 semesters of graduation.
