JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for leading key projects and initiatives within the rapidly growing Oncology Business Unit. Projects are expected to be scoped comprehensively, completed on time, on budget, and to meet the desired goals of the business. The Senior Project Manager will work independently to plan, direct, and coordinate project activities from inception to operalization. Projects in Oncology Business Operations will liaise closely with a number of departments, including Sales Operations, UX/UI teams, Customer Experience, Engineering/IT, Patient Coordination, and Training.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead several moderate to complex projects at once.
  • Prepare project plans, financial analysis, budget, and status updates for assigned projects
  • Ability to think through project obstacles and risks, knowing when to escalate issues for additional support or guidance
  • Can influence project team members on possible solutions
  • Proven ability to learn how processes work quickly, ask the right questions and come up with a cohesive plan for how to improve/automate them.
  • Proven ability to work with cross functional teams and build rapport with key stakeholders
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Flexible, and agile; willingness to tackle any type of challenge; highly motivated to roll up sleeves and get work done while also thinking strategically
  • Analyzes and suggests improvements to business processes to improve the overall workflow efficiency and effectiveness, with a focus on delivering results.
  • Evaluates potential corrective actions, both independently and collaboratively, based upon investigations. Aids in implementation across areas.
  • Performs non-conformance investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventative action efforts throughout the value stream.
IDEAL BACKGROUND AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
  • PMP certification or similar
  • At least two years as a project manager or equivalent role
  • Self-starter with strong problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Bright, flexible, and agile
  • Experience with tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, Project Online, Clarity, Confluence, or Excel Gantt
  • Demonstrated success working with a team, able to influence without authority
  • Attention to detail, highly organized, able to collect and analyze data
PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • Duties are typically performed in an office or remote office setting.
  • This position requires the ability to use a computer keyboard, communicate over the telephone and read printed material.
  • Duties may require working outside normal working hours (evenings and weekends) at times.
