QC Operation Trainer (Temporary)

POSITION SUMMARY:
The QC Operation Trainer supports laboratory personnel with departmental competencies and standard operating procedures as well as provide Learning Management System (LMS) support to all Natera employees. The QC Operation Trainer will work closely with department management to ensure company and team goals are met.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Writes and revises SOP/DEP
Presents an overview of Natera's product lines and employee benefits to new hires
Proctors Basic safety, HIPAA, and QSPs training and quizzes
Provides training on basic hands-on lab skills, classroom training, and initiates product-specific programs

Performs on the job observation for competency
Revises/creates assessments for training courses
Support LMS users with system difficulties
Assist with LMS improvements and/or enhancements

Qualifications
  • BS/BA or equivalent in years of experience
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in equivalent role preferred
  • 2 years related experience in a regulated industry; biopharma, diagnostics, or medical device fields
  • Proficiency in MS Office Products with a focus on advanced uses of Excel (including Pivot Tables & V-Lookups).
  • Minimum of one year's experience using enterprise level software (ERP Systems, CRM Systems, Learning Management System, Recruiting Systems)

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • Duties typically performed in an office setting.
  • This position requires the ability to use a computer keyboard, communicate over the telephone and read printed material.
  • Duties may require working outside normal working hours (evenings & weekends) at times.
  • Remote position may be considered based on experience and qualifications.
  • Performs other duties as assigned including those listed for the Associate QC Operation Trainer.
  • This role works with PHI on a regular basis both in paper and electronic form and have an access to various technologies to access PHI (paper and electronic) in order to perform the job.
  • Employee must complete training relating to HIPAA/PHI privacy, General Policies and Procedure Compliance training and security training as soon as possible but not later than the first 30 days of hire.
  • Must maintain a current status on Natera training requirements.
  • Employee must pass post offer criminal background
