About the Role
Nanit is looking for a creative, trend-savvy, highly organized Social Media Specialist to help make us a must-follow brand for modern parents. You’ll take the lead on real-time content creation, trend-driven storytelling, and platform innovation—turning insights and expert-backed guidance into engaging, high-impact social content. This role is ideal for someone who moves at the speed of culture and thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
What You'll Do:
- Lead the creation and edit short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, GIFs) that feels native, fun, and on-brand
- Draft captions and post across our channels daily—Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and YouTube
- Organize and maintain our content calendar and asset library to keep things running smoothly
- Coordinate with customer support to ensure timely responses and flag any social escalations
- Collaborate with our creative and PR teams on launches, giveaways, and brand campaigns
- Help scout, vet, brief and manage influencer partners—keeping timelines and content delivery on track
- Track and share basic performance metrics to inform future posts and ideas
Who You Are

- 3+ years of hands-on experience managing social for a consumer-facing brand (in-house or agency), with a strong focus on content creation and short-form video
- Experience working in parenting, wellness, or consumer tech a plus
- Deep platform knowledge (especially Instagram and TikTok) and have previously worked on creator/influencer partnerships
- A proactive idea-generator who loves moving fast, experimenting, and bringing new concepts to life
- Collaborative and communicative, with the ability to manage multiple projects across teams.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about building community through thoughtful content
- Familiarity with tools like Dash Social or similar publishing/ analytics platforms
- Energized by working in a high-growth, mission-driven environment.
EEO, Salary and Location:
This is a hybrid role that will require prospective candidates to be in our NYC 1-2 days per week
Salary Range: $75K - $80K base salary + plus equity and benefits. The base pay is one component of Nanit's total compensation package, which may also include access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, and basic life insurance. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we'll consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors.
