Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Enterprise Data Platform Development Lead who will focus on designing and implementing subject area specific Infomarts using Enterprise Standard Output Format (SOF) Models, required for consumers - Reporting Platforms, downstream applications, Adhoc reporting via Tableau. Responsible for leading Data Mapping and Transformations, Data Orchestrations, Batch and Near Real-Time Data Integration with embedded Data Quality and Controls. The ideal candidate will be an adaptable project lead who will have a technical background coupled with proficient business acumen to enable them to draw and effectively communicate meaningful business conclusions and insights from a wide variety of data sources and structures. In this role you will lead/support the delivery of Enterprise Data Services related projects focused on data provisioning to consumers by working closely with Enterprise Data Platform Development Team, Risk & Reg Reporting Tech Teams, Downstreams, Chief Data Office, downstream development teams, project and product managers to manage IT stakeholder relationships, sets and execute against project milestones, and manage quality, client satisfaction, and engagement throughout the implementation life-cycle. Additionally, you will interact with Ingestion and Consumption Layer capability teams for end-to-end data mappings and lineage.

Responsibilities

  • Lead subject area Infomarts data requirements analysis
  • Build extensible data acquisition and integration solutions to meet the functional and non-functional requirements of the business
  • Implement processes and logic to extract, transform, and distribute data across from EDP to downstreams
  • Optimize usage of Infomarts to provide superior performance to users and downstreams
  • Provide problem-solving expertise and complex analysis of data to develop business intelligence integration designs
  • Conduct review of other integration developers' development efforts to ensure consistent methodologies are followed and to make recommendations where necessary
  • Work with business users to translate functional specifications into technical designs for implementation and deployment
  • Experience working with Agile teams and JIRA
  • Ensure high quality and optimum performance of data integration systems in order to meet business solutions

Experience

  • 6-8 years' experience in managing ETL pipelines using Informatica and/or SSIS along with structured query language (SQL) database development, SQL queries, data structures, stored procedures, Application Programming Interface (API) architecture, Unix/Linux, DB2, Postgres, Unix, TOAD, PL/SQL, GitHub, Autosys
  • 2+ years of experience in AWS suite like RDS, Redshift, S3, Athena, Glue, Kinesis, EMR, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, RedShift, etc.
  • 4+ years' experience in General Ledger and Reconciliations
  • 2+ years' experience in Cloud Data Integration projects
  • 6-8 years' experience in software development lifecycle activities
  • Fluency in SQL skills and web-service API integration deployment
  • Conversant with DevOps CICD practices - Bitbucket, Jenkins, etc.
  • Solid scripting skills with shell scripts, Python, Java

Education

Bachelors' Degree (or foreign equivalent degree) in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field

The typical base pay range for this role is between $125-$153k depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location.
