This is a remote position. The selected colleague will generally be expected to work at an MUFG office periodically. A member of our recruitment team will discuss location preferences with you in more detail.

Job Summary:

In this role you will work with teams comprised of software engineering, infrastructure development, architecture, and other resources to advance the identity and access management (IAM) strategy. Your leadership will be key to setting priorities and providing a tactical vision. You will be accountable for the overall work being delivered by your teams as a strategic partner to senior leaders across the organization. As a leader in this position you will contribute to the broader strategy through collaboration and feedback with other leaders and business partners. You will leverage key metrics and data analytics to derive meaningful insights that steer decision making and innovation. You will understand and map key processes to seek efficiency and effectiveness with the goal of overall operational excellence. You will also Identify and pursue opportunities for greater efficiency, including identification of automated and digital tools.

Major Responsibilities

  • Maintain end-to-end oversight across the access management lifecycle with a focus on risk-based controls that prevent, detect, and mitigate inappropriate or excessive access
  • Provide strategic leadership including setting goals, managing performance objectives, ensuring skill development, and providing mentoring and career development
  • Provide oversight on managed services contracts to ensure quality and efficient delivery of capabilities
  • Provide robust entitlement review and removal solutions to manage access throughout the identity lifecycle (EERs governance)
  • Improve ID management and governance through the coordination of access control implementation and comprehensive monitoring
  • Support access-provisioning efforts by strengthening areas to systemically prevent access and integrate with key systems
  • Enhance and increase existing service levels to ensure optimum performance in alignment with MUFG and regulatory requirements requiring strong controls orientation
  • Create and implement efficient end-end business process by utilizing metrics for scalability and quality.
  • Partner with IAM Engineering teams to prioritize product enhancements and drive continual improvements.
  • Partner with Service Desk and end user support areas to optimize processes and ensure positive user experience

Qualification

  • 10+ years of experience in defining and re-engineering processes, including incident management, change management, access management, security management, and/or automation of those processes
  • 5+ years of recent experience in IT management role within enterprise environment
  • 5+ years of recent experience managing vendors or managed service providers
  • Experience in the financial services or banking industry preferred
  • A deep understanding in Identity and Access management principals, methodology, and solutions including access control (role-based and discretionary), authentication, authorization, provisioning, approvals, metrics and workflows.
  • At least 10 years' IT experience, 5+ years in information system security
  • Minimum of 5 years working with Unix, Windows, or database servers
  • At least 5 years of experience managing teams
  • Exceptional organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities while adhering to established milestones and timelines
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written skills; expert ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences

The typical base pay range for this role is between $160K - $195K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location.
