Job Summary:

Capital Markets Collateral Operations- Hybrid to promote operational process improvements, data quality, project support, automation, and metrics reporting. You will be the primary representative throughout the project life cycle including analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation. You will also assist in the overall testing of bank-developed or vendor-supplied packages.

Major Responsibilities:

  • This role covers operations activities that are commonly found in financial services firms and may support multiple specific lines of business.
  • Roles covered in this function include: Funds Transfer, Collateral Management / Margins, Corporate Actions / Income Processing, Static Data / Data Management, Reconciliation/Investigation, Client Valuations / Pricing, Network Management, Know Your Client/Client Onboarding and Control, Tax Operations and Call Center Servicing, etc.
  • As a Professional day-to-day focus is on the resolution of complex problems or transactions, where expertise is required to interpret against policies, guidelines, or processes.
  • Role at this level usually has full ownership for one or more processes, reports, procedures, or products, and may also be considered analytical or procedural experts representing a unit or team on the cross-function process or project deliverables.
  • May prioritize and direct work to junior-level employees.
  • May periodically review the work of junior employees to ensure quality control and accordance with applicable external regulations and internal requirements.
  • May Provide recommendations on process improvement and efficiency.
  • Roles at this level typically require an individual emerging as an expert in a specific skill set, business area, or product but who remains focused primarily on daily execution.

  • Lead a project end to end, including the release management process.
  • Perform analysis of large internal and external data sets and identify commonalities between them.
  • Develop department initiatives through project management and partnerships with other business functions.
  • Build and automate actionable reporting using moderate to complex queries.
  • Translate business requirements into a functional specification for development.
  • Evaluate the daily production process to set strategies and develop a culture of accuracy and productivity.
  • Perform root cause analysis and provide solutions.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years experience in servicing Cash Management.
  • Requires strong executive-level communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Business Objects, and Toad.
  • Experience working with Data Warehouse.
  • Payment operations or other deposit services. Knowledgeable of overall payment systems and related operations.
  • Working knowledge of cash management products.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

The typical base pay range for this role is between $60K-$80K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location.
