About the job

mParticle is seeking a Product Marketing Manager with a deep understanding of the data space and the technical acumen for competitive intelligence. You'll ensure our data infrastructure products are well understood, ideally positioned, and effectively marketed, achieving maximum reach and impact. You will craft compelling product narratives targeted at data/IT personas by blending technical prowess with a deep understanding of our customers' needs. This role is pivotal in shaping our product's future, aligning product strategy with market needs, and fueling our growth trajectory through insightful, solutions-focused marketing.

About the Candidate

The Successful candidate will:

  • Product GTM: Spearhead product launches with meticulously planned go-to-market strategies, ensuring seamless orchestration and measurable impact.
  • Strategic positioning and messaging: Elevate our product narrative for data/IT teams, ensuring our solutions resonate with technical personas and articulating the value and differentiation of our offerings in a crowded marketplace.
  • Sales and customer success enablement: Equip our sales and customer success teams with the insights, knowledge, and tools they need to succeed in the competitive landscape.
  • Drive product adoption: Collaborate with key stakeholders to craft and execute compelling marketing content and campaigns that drive product demand, adoption, and customer engagement.
  • Competitive intelligence: Lead competitive analysis efforts to inform product positioning, go-to-market strategies, and innovation, ensuring our solutions remain ahead of the curve.
  • Market insights: Stay ahead of industry trends, customer needs, and technological advancements to inform product development and marketing strategies.
  • Performance measurement: Define and track key metrics to measure the effectiveness of product marketing efforts, adjusting strategies as necessary to achieve business goals.
  • Cross-functional leadership: Serve as a hub of product and market knowledge, facilitating strategic alignment across product, sales, marketing, and customer success teams.

Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who have:

  • Experience: 2-3 years of product marketing or related experience in the data space, with a strong preference for those with experience in solutions marketing. Enterprise B2B SaaS and CDP industry experience is highly desirable.
  • Technical understanding: Proven ability to comprehend and articulate complex data infrastructure concepts and strategic insights into market needs and customer pain points.
  • Analytical and research skills: Skilled in conducting thorough market research, competitive analysis, and synthesizing insights to inform strategic decisions.
  • Exceptional communication: Outstanding storytelling, writing, and presentation skills, capable of engaging both technical and business audiences.
  • Collaborative spirit: Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally, fostering collaboration and driving strategic alignment across diverse teams.
  • Program management: Excellence in managing multiple projects and programs simultaneously, showcasing strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize effectively, and maintain high-quality standards under tight deadlines.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $160,000 - $175,000 based on location and level of experience + equity + benefits.
