About the job 

As a Senior Solutions Architect, you’ll be responsible for scoping, positioning, architecting and delivering value-focused, technical solutions at scale to mParticle customers. Solutions Architects are technical, customer-facing, and work on complex technical solutions built on the mParticle platform. You will be cross-functional, collaborating closely with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, Sales and Technical Account Management teams. You’ll also work across several technologies such as application development, machine learning, marketing technology, cloud infrastructure, and analytics. 

Your work will be meaningful and substantially impact mParticle and our client's success. You will have a high degree of freedom in your work, with support from the entire mParticle team. You will interact with some of the best minds in the data technology and marketing space while partnering with cutting-edge platforms.

What you’ll do: 

• Work closely with customers to turn business requirements into technical solutions built on top of the mParticle platform 
• Consult on solution design, building and presenting different approaches and weighing the costs and benefits of each 
• Lead customer workshops to better understand end to end data flows resulting mutual opportunity discovery 
• Architect and support building cloud-native integrations  to expand what customers can do with mParticle 
• Own technical project delivery, optimizing both value and time to go live
• Author internal and external mParticle technology content
• Build and present reference architectures, technical guides, and demo applications for both customers and internal use
• Be a domain expert in the Customer Data Platform space 
• Leverage your strengths to lead and support the SA team as a whole 
• Represent the SA function across the organization while fostering cross-functional relationships
• Demonstrate your technical leadership skills by creating good code, suggesting solution architectures, and providing implementation recommendations
• Support Sales in scoping and positioning Professional Services offerings

Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who have:

• Technical skills including
• Experience with core cloud infrastructure services such as compute, storage and API gateways 
• Experience working with SDKs, RESTful APIs, and designing/developing integrations
• Experience with Python, Javascript, C# and building apps with Python-based or Javascript-based web frameworks (Flask, Django, Express , Node JS)
• Machine Learning modeling and technology 
• AWS experience and/or AWS certifications in AWS SA Associate or AWS Certified Developer are pluses 
• 5+ years of client-facing experience as a Solutions Architect, Technical Account Manager or in technical solutions delivery roles 
• Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities with a passion for learning new technologies in market
• The ability to travel, up to 25% (averaging once every other month for 1-2 days at a time)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in scoping and selling technology services offerings 
• 4-year undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Alternatively, equivalent experience in the field may also be considered
• Spanish speaking is a big plus

The US base salary range for this full-time position $140,000 - $180,000 based on location and level of experience + equity + benefits.
