Workforce Strategy Manager - Vice President

Strategic planning: Develop and execute workforce strategies in support of business and transformational strategies and in alignment with organizational goals. Evaluate and recommend optimal geographic distribution of workforce, using supply-demand modelling, skills mapping and org development strategies. Location and cost optimization: Drive footprint rationalization and future-state recommendations by analyzing and optimally balancing cost, talent availability, scale and risk. Demand planning: Help develop demand plans by BU, sub-BU and across global locations. Transformation and innovation: Collaborate with partners to identify and execute on opportunities which improve processes and team set up through automation, AI integration, and shared services. Business case development and tracking: Support projects from ideation to completion, applying rigorous governance, metrics and tracking while ensuring accountability and transparency across a portfolio of initiatives. Operate with a strong sense of ownership and discretion, with the ability to influence and persuade others to collaborate. Data analysis and forecasting: Analyze workforce data, including talent needs, historical trends, costs and business growth projections, to forecast future staffing requirements and expenses, and to inform strategic decisions. High-impact presentation preparation: Prepare persuasive, data-driven and qualitative presentations to enable senior leaders to make decisions, stay informed and move key initiatives forward, with quick turnarounds and a high degree of accuracy. Initiative management: Lead high-priority workforce strategy initiatives in the fast-paced Integrated Firm Management Workforce Strategy team, through independent efforts, thoughtful interactions with the group and senior executives. Collaboration and communication: Interact with the business, and key partners in Finance, Global Centers leadership, HCM, Real Estate and other key constituents to collect necessary data, vet proposals and move initiatives forward. Risk management and compliance: Work with global / regional counterparts to provide synergies between regions and ensure the compliance with global policies, outsourcing procedures and best practices. Minimum 8+ years professional experience, preferably at a major financial institution or management consulting firm, with demonstrated strategy, COO, finance or workforce planning background. Bachelor's degree in business, finance, engineering or technology; MBA a plus. Knowledge of the financial services industry, preferably within corporate strategy, business function or operations, with understanding of sales and trading, institutional or wealth management businesses. Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Advanced Excel and PowerPoint. Experience using Power BI or other business intelligence software. Strong communication skills, including the ability to liaise confidently with both internal and external business stakeholders, excellent customer service expertise, and the ability to distil complex topics into manageable content for senior leader consumption. Strong business management mindset and entrepreneurial spirit. Ability to collaborate with senior management and foster strong partnerships with many constituents across partner organizations. Proven ability to work proactively, creatively and analytically in a fast-paced and complex environment. Ability to take ownership of tasks and projects, able to work within a global team, and manage time and tasks effectively & independently. Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $120,000 and $205,000 per year at the commencement of employment.
