Wealth Management (Wealth Management) : Job Level - Vice President
The COO team of Morgan Stanley at Work supports a broad array of responsibilities across multiple Morgan Stanley at Work businesses including Global Public Equity, Global Private Markets, Executive Financial Services, Retirement and Financial Wellness. The Business Change Project Manager is an experienced operations leader with solid knowledge and experience to manage and execute business change initiatives, particularly the wind down of regulated operations activity. The Business Change Project Manager will be responsible for multiple activity streams including the oversight, execution and reporting of the termination of all operational activities relating to Morgan Stanley at Work's International businesses. They should be able to communicate key objectives and performance to internal stakeholders to ensure timely and appropriate action is incorporated in servicing the business's needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Project manage initiatives across various support partners with particular focus on wind down activity relating to APAC and EMEA entities
- Create and manage detailed project plans, timelines and reporting mechanisms to ensure orderly, compliant and efficient execution
- Direct activities throughout project lifecycles, escalating issues and ensuring effective delivery to time and budget
- Ability to identify issues and/or headwinds and create recommendations or solutions
- Coordinate and manage third party providers and internal partners to execute account and relationship closure activities
- Liaise with external auditors to ensure closure activity aligns with regulatory requirements.
- Identification, tracking, investigation and resolution of legacy queries liaising with internal and external partners where appropriate
Qualifications:
- Organized and capable of multi-tasking several responsibilities in a fast-paced setting
- The ideal candidate should be highly motivated, innovative and an independent thinker with strong attention to detail.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Strong Excel and Power Point skills)
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including working with senior managers
- Ability to partner with cross functional teams, such as Third-Party Oversight, Technology, Finance, Legal, Risk, Compliance, etc.
- Experience of dealing with external parties including banking partners, auditors and Industry vendors/service providers
- Technically proficient in Shareplan administration, specifically the Shareworks platform with a detailed knowledge of related applications' trade and settlement activity.
- Detailed knowledge of equity and cash trading and settlement process and post execution control related activity
- Detail oriented with superior organizational skills and ability to prioritize
- Minimum Requirements: BS / BA degree or at least 5 years of experience in related financial services
