Provides the unique opportunity to design and implement applications that provide a critical business function across the entire Institutional Securities Business. Provides platform to those who borrow cash and securities from the Firm to execute their investment strategies. Securities Finance technology team is a global multi squad Agile team playing a unique and critical role in bridging client financing and firm funding, with activities that scale across the entire secured funding trade lifecycle. Our clients include Financial Resources & Strategy (FRS), Corporate Treasury, Finance Operations, Operations & Risk Control (ORC), Clearing Operations, Collateral Management Operations and Prime Brokerage. Responding to both business and regulatory requirements, we deliver best-in-class solutions to enable desk to remain efficient and to grow their P&L. Working in a globally distributed team to provide robust solutions. Design, Optimization and Documentation of the components that you/team develops & enhance. Lead Junior developers to develop the product, Pr Review, Test Cases throughout SDLC Analyse problems, current components design & how to migrate them to newer platform, Troubleshooting problems, resolving root cause, and where possible, Collaborate with wider fleet, Architects to design & develop the solutions catering to different business usecases. Working closely with clients (Operations, Finance, Trading Desk) to understand the pain points & opportunities for improving the system 10-15 years of experience working with Java/Scala Applications At least 6 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role Strong development/design skills in Java/Scala, Spring, SpringBoot & Other common frameworks Analysis of data & finding pattern & issues related to it. Strong experience on working with RDBMS (Sql, Sybase, DB2) Experience with Agile and DevOps concepts Developing monitoring architecture and implementing monitoring agents, dashboards, escalations, and alerts Experience with architecting and maintaining high availability production system Responsible for End to End delivery of Products/Applications. Ability to Plan a complex project & divide their schedules in MVP's & different phases Technologies: Java / spring - Strong experience in developing enterprise level systems using Java / Spring.
