Vice President, Java / Scala Dev
Morgan Stanley Services Group, Inc. seeks a Vice President, Java / Scala Dev in Alpharetta, GA
Create highly optimized, scalable, and distributed software. Deliver manageable, modular code and automated tests. Perform code reviews on server side code. Release and maintain code as well as address production issues. Write unit tests. Design and implementation of technical systems using server side technologies. Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days a week.
Salary :
Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $173000 and 173000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
Requirements:
Requires a Bachelor's in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field and five (5) years of experience in the position offered or five (5) years as a Technology Lead, Technology Analyst, System Engineer, or a related occupation. Requires five (5) years of experience with: Java 8; OO Design and Programming; Distributed Architecture Design; Spring Framework; Messaging framework with Kafka OR Messaging framework with IBM IQ; multithreaded programming and concurrency; Agile and DevOps practices; developing and building high volume systems; building REST based services integration; JIRA; GIT; Jenkins OR Teamcity; IBM Business Process Management(BPM); and Kubernates/Docker.
