Vice President, C++ Dev

Develop Front-to-Back (FTB) strategies on a distributed, low latency environment for trading and operations. Work with clients (traders, quants, operations, controllers) to build tools for analysis, trading, allocation, workflow automation, reporting. Participate in design meetings, trader demos, operations tasks, controller P&L investigations, and more. Support and business-as-usual activities: start-of-day application readiness, end-of-day marking and risk, trading desk ad-hoc support. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field plus five (5) years of experience in the position offered or five (5) years of experience as an Associate, Software Developer, or a related occupation. Requires four (4) years of experience with: The full Software Development Lifecycle using Linux; agile development on enterprise scale complex projects; rational databases including: Sybase OR DB2; writing complex SQL queries; GIT; JIRA; Jenkins; System architecture; and core Java development including: Object Oriented programming, Threading, Data Structure, Design pattern, Algorithms, Spring, REST and SOAP API, Microservices, Junit, Mockito, MQ, XML, and TDD; C++ development with low latency and multi-threaded programming; Distributed storage/caches including: Elasticsearch, and UiPath; Q/KDB; Python; C; Shell scripting; JSON; AutoSys; Train; Splunk; Load Balance; Build tools including Maven, Gradle, and YAML; Trading technologies and MBS trading system, including FIX protocol and EPN interaction; working in a trading environment with cross regional teams, and C#.
