Wealth Management (WM) Platforms manages industry-leading platforms, across all WM channels and client segments, to provide a unified digital experience, unlock growth, and deliver efficiencies for Advisors, Clients, and Institutions. WM Platforms consists of nine sub-teams including: Field Experience & Platforms, Digital Client Experience & Platforms, Workplace Platforms, Automation & Workflow Solutions, Digital Trading & Investing, UX Design & Research, Strategy & Execution. Business Control & Support, and the Chief Operating Office.
The Morgan Stanley Wealth Management UX team builds digital experiences that help our clients manage their finances and monitor their investments easily on the Morgan Stanley and E*TRADE from Morgan Stanley platforms. Our growing team of designers and researchers bring an entrepreneurial spirit to a leading global financial firm. ISG UX Studio is covering 4 areas across Sales & Trading: Equity Sales, Trading & Risk, Algorithmic Trading, Fixed Income, and Prime Brokerage and Fund Services.

What you'll do in the role:
- As an SME in Sales & Trading, partner with the Fleet leads, POs, and Technology team creating cohesive experience within various products across the Fleet and being involved in every step of the end-to-end product design process
- Provide additional support and fluidity across multiple Fleets or even cross-divisions when needed
- Craft intuitive and elegant experiences that empower our clients to make confident financial decisions
- Work closely with our research team to synthesize qualitative and quantitative data and make value-driven design decisions that translate into clear, simple UIs
- Create and present a variety of design deliverables (sketches, wireframes, user flows and prototypes) in a way that engenders confidence in you and your solutions with the team and the greater organization
- Form holistic solutions that integrate seamlessly into our wealth management product ecosystem
- Design and deliver responsive/adaptive solutions that are optimized for web and mobile interfaces and partner with engineers to translate designs into successful products
- Work closely with the larger Global UX team to share design best practices, align on patterns, and promote a design-centric culture at the firm
- Advocate for all user abilities by thoroughly testing design deliverables to meet WCAG ADA compliance
What you'll bring to the role:
- You have an outstanding portfolio that demonstrates how you have created experiences that solved business and user needs
- You've spent 3-5 years as a UX designer who was a key contributor to the success of products that have launched
- You have a bachelor's degree in design or related field preferably, master's degree a plus
- You have excellent skills in Figma
- You have experience designing intuitive interfaces that enhance user experience and drive customer engagement
- You can leverage research, wireframes and prototypes to effectively validate and enhance your design concepts to achieve the best possible solutions for your users
- You thrive in a collaborative, explorative environment and you value being on a diverse team to brainstorm and get feedback from within a large organization
- You practice active listening and contribute in group situations, like brainstorms, audits, critiques, and whiteboard sessions
- You get excited by complex projects with high levels of ambiguity and are resilient in the face of obstacles
