Treasury Non-Financial Risk Lead

Job Level: Vice President

We're seeking someone to join our Finance Risk and Assurance (FinRia) team as a Treasury Non Financial Risk lead to play a pivotal role in steering non-financial risk management and assurance activities across the Finance division, focusing on high-impact initiatives such as Risk & Control Self-Assessment (RCSA), Operational Risk Governance, and divisional reporting & metrics. Your expertise will be essential in shaping governance for Business Continuity Planning, Information Security, Third Party Risk, and Fraud Risk.

In the Finance division, we act as a partner to business units around the globe by providing management, review, analysis and advisory services of the Firm's financial and capital resources. This is a Vice President level position within the Risk, Assurance, Governance & Control job family which provides oversight and monitoring of operational risk or third party/outsourcing for the global Finance division, validation and testing of financial and regulatory reports and reinforcement of regulatory requirements, policies and procedures.

What you'll do in the role:

- Collaborate with a varied group of colleagues in Finance and across the Firm

- Responsible for and lead a significant set of deliverables, leveraging advanced understanding of Finance functional area, product and/or client segment

- Proactively identify emerging risks in individual and department work and contribute to strategies for mitigating them

- Act as a role model and culture carrier; Embody and set an example of the Firm's values and hold yourself and others accountable to Firm standards

- Lead key risk processes across Corporate Treasury including risk and controls self assessments, business continuity, information security and other compliance activities

- Own and deliver high-impact initiatives, leveraging deep Finance expertise

- Oversee team member's preparation of risk reports and deliver insights to senior stakeholders

- Supervise reporting of risk incidents and perform thematic analysis to identify trends and solutions

- Drive issue resolution and action planning within the Firm's risk inventory

- Identify emerging non-financial risks and assist senior management in developing mitigation strategies

- Maintain risk policies, procedures, and information security protocols

- Champion the firm's values and foster a culture of accountability

- Participate in Firm-wide Third Party Risk related forums and governance committees in partnership with Third Party Program Management

What you'll bring to the role:

- Advanced understanding of Finance functional area, product and/or client segment and technical skills, as well as of industry and competitive environment

- Ability to provide positive and constructive - feedback and acknowledge efforts of team members

- Ability to articulate risk and impact to various audiences, and create plans to mitigate those risks

- Experience in Financial Services, with advanced knowledge of Treasury risk, process and controls

- Strong analytical skills and the ability to distill complex issues into clear insights

- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities

- Proven leadership and mentoring capabilities

- Initiative, independence, and strong time management

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, experience with tools like Power BI or Alteryx is a bonus

- A collaborative mindset and a passion for continuous improvement

- At least 6 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role
