The candidate will work closely within a team of storage, programming, performance, and hardware engineers, to provide technical support for all storage management related projects and activities. The candidate will act as a liaison with application and other infrastructure teams on all technical matters related to storage management. Required: ### At least 6+ years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role. ### Experience managing Mainframe Storage / DASD & Tape in a multi-CEC, multi LPAR, multi SYSPLEX z-platform environment. ### Strong working knowledge of z/OS internals, z/OS system software, IBM Utilities, JES, ISPF, JCL, DADSM, ICF Catalogs, VSAM, VSAM/RLS. ### Knowledge of IBM DS8K and TS77 family hardware and Management Interface (MI). ### Strong written and verbal English language communication skills. ### The ability to effectively interface with external disk and software vendors. ### Weekend work and on-call coverage is required.
