Execute processes/functions and/or support process management and project efforts, leveraging knowledge of the systems, markets and instruments that influence the team Recognize risk in day-to-day processes to draw out the key issues and contribute to process improvements Build relationships within team and internal stakeholders, sharing knowledge to contribute to team output Participate in projects and initiatives, aiding in solution formulation with a focus on timely execution Develop project scopes and objectives by understanding and documenting the requirements for the change Track the progress of the plan, report and escalate the status and issues to the management Set test strategy with specific approach details Engage stakeholders who need to be involved in the project Work and contribute as a catalyst between the Settlement team and Technology department Ability to establish clear goals and priorities, and address non-standard issues within area of expertise with minimal guidance and supervision Subject matter expertise in business area supported, client requirements, and ability to ensure control is not compromised to comply with client requests Culture carrier across Operations, embracing the Firm's core values Project managzzement skills Self-motivated with positive working attitude Lead the team by example working with drive and determination Specialist in functional knowledge and able to deal with multiple tasks under pressure Ability to understand impact of any market changes and communicate to stakeholders effectively Good communication skills, able to interact and communicate effectively across cultural and hierarchical lines within the Firm Ability to identify problems as they arise and understand when they need to be escalated Ability to set out / apply up to date knowledge and best practices to develop solutions that add value to the firm and our internal clients. Adaptable and flexible to changes and new challenges Keen to learn new skill sets and does so quickly Analytical skills, able to digest the requirements, spot the root cause of the issue and suggest a solution in a constructive manner Specialist in market knowledge - Equity or Fixed Income products and settlement market rules Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Visio) Presentation skill At least 6 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this.
