You're a highly motivated individual, with a track record of delivering sophisticated yet pragmatic and easy to use solutions. As part of our investor statements team you'll be tasked with developing, in coordination with other teams, the next generation of our Statements platform. You are hands on and lead by example setting standards for what good looks like and inspire people around you to strive for delivering technical excellence and high-quality solutions.

You take full ownership of your projects, and you realize your job doesn't end when your changes are merged.

We work closely with our business to understand their business processes and respond to client requests and needs. The statements area is where it all comes together for our clients and investors and expectations in terms of accuracy and timeliness are key. You are interested in using your strong technical skills to identify and proactively improve the systems you interact with.

What you'll do in the role:

-Design, develop, and optimize our investor statements processes, contributing to the technical uplift of this area
-Participate fully in projects from inception to deployment, ensuring end-to-end product delivery
-Troubleshoot and debug complex issues to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of our reported figures
-Create a positive environment to foster talent and help junior/mid-level engineers establish roots and thrive in a fast-moving environment.

What you'll bring to the role:

-Extensive experience with Core Java and related technologies like Spring/SpringBoot
-Holds themselves to high standards of software development, quality and testing
-Knowledge of, or keen interest in learning about various database management systems (e.g. Sybase, Snowflake, Postgres)
-Great problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
-Solid understanding of Computer Science fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, and software design principles
-Ability to work in a fast-paced, globally distributed team to deliver enterprise grade software infrastructure solutions
-Strong communication skills
