Profile Description### We're seeking someone to join our team as (Director) Software Developer Engineer in Test who possess a high degree of technical problem-solving ability, to focus on developing and maintaining an automation focused QA testing strategy. The individual will be required to perform QA validation of in scope changes, participate in development of test automation scripts, execution and reporting and ensure that the product being tested is of utmost quality.### ### Individual will have to develop a good understanding of the domain/application being tested, to function independently and be able to develop appropriate automation scripts.### Enterprise Technology Services### Enterprise Technology & Services (ETS) delivers shared technology services for Morgan Stanley supporting all business applications and end users. Leverages Technology to help connect employees to the Firm and our culture, as well as to highlight the Firm's people and accomplishments.### ### QA Engineering### This is a Director position that devises test strategies, conducts and/or coordinates tests, and identifies defects to maintain high standards of performance and reliability.### ### Morgan Stanley is an industry leader in financial services, known for mobilizing capital to help governments, corporations, institutions, and individuals around the world achieve their financial goals.### ### Since 1935, Morgan Stanley is known as a global leader in financial services, always evolving and innovating to better serve our clients and our communities in more than 40 countries around the world### ### What you'll do in the role: * ### Test Automation development and maintenance, for Ui and Backend automation. * ### Development and maintenance of a scalable test automation framework, as appropriate for the application. * ### Collaborate with the team to come up with practices and strategies to enable high quality deliverables from a QA perspective, and solutions to automate large integrated applications. * ### Database and ETL testing, ability to comprehend complex SQLs, stored procedures and compare large data sets. * ### Performance testing using JMeter, and/or other performance testing tooling.### ### What you'll bring to the role: * ### At least 6 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role. * ### Expertise in a programming language, preferably Java to build solid test automation solutions. * ### Test automation framework development and design expertise, that will enable to build scalable UI and Backend automation solutions. * ### Well versed with SQL queries, ability to create complex SQLs and perform large data comparisons using various backend tools and technologies. * ### Hands on Experience using Selenium/BDD for UI automation. * ### Ability to work independently as part of an Agile squad and drive test automation development for multiple applications built using various tech stacks. * ### Act as an owner to ensure product being developed adheres to the highest quality standards and meets expected business requirements. * ### Experience with Performance Testing tooling/practices to help scale up performance testing for the squad. * ### Exposure to various Continuous Integration / Dev Ops practices is an added advantage. * ### Ability to learn and innovative on job and be flexible to try new tools and technologies. * ### Excellent interpersonal skills ### WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM MORGAN STANLEY:We are committed to maintaining the first-class service and high standard of excellence that have defined Morgan Stanley for over 89 years.
