Provide technical leadership and vision for software development projects. Define technical architecture and roadmap for large-scale, mission-critical systems. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the team. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure project success. Oversee the execution of software development projects, ensuring quality and on-time delivery. Represent the software engineering team in cross-functional discussions and planning sessions. You will work on and be responsible for a large tick based KDB plant and associate access points/API for the various consumers, from quants, backtesting systems, to algo trading systems. You will be part of a team of highly skilled developers You will be able to provide input into the strategic direction for the team and provide key input in to design decisions You will improve the system constantly to achieve stability and scale. You will design and consult on q queries to achieve analytics objectives of the various clients. You will partner with the desk strategists to deliver a commercial platform, where reactivity will be key. Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Strategic planning and execution of engineering projects. Ability to align technology initiatives with business objectives. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
