Project Manager for Model Risk and Control

Support model/tool governance initiatives, including implementation of enhanced regulatory requirements. Manage model/tool life cycle tasks, track progress and timelines, help with the documentation process. Serve as advisory function for model owners across the business regarding model/tool controls and requirements. Primary curator and support for IM Model Control Committee and other model/tool related updates in various risk committees. 3-5 years of relevant experience in the financial services industry with preference in model risk management, governance, or operations / project management. At least Bachelor's degree (Master's degree is preferred) in an applied math or economic discipline (such as Statistics, Engineering, Mathematical Finance, Finance, Economics, or related fields). Strong communication (in both Hungarian and English) and project management skills are must. Experience with presentation to senior stakeholders, committee and forums is highly desired (in English). Highly motivated and results oriented with strong organizational skills. Familiarity with essential quantitative techniques used in financial models and experience in model development or validation is a plus. Programming skills in statistical packages such as R or Python is a plus. Familiarity with vendor risk systems such as RiskMetrics, BlackRock Aladdin, MSCI Barra, Yield Book, SunGard APT, Bloomberg terminal is a plus. CFA, FRM or CEFA is a plus.
