Interact and provide governance/advise to COOs/CFOs on a daily basis over all financial accounting matters in a fast-paced environment Act as an officer of the General Partner responsible for review and approve all funds cash movements, acquisitions, sales, capital calls, distributions and credit facility throughout the entire fund and investment structure Coordinate bank, custody & demand accounts opening, account deposit and withdrawal of securities Quarterly and annual financial statements review (in US & IFRS, India GAAP, other GAAPs) and coordination with external auditors for year-end audit Review and approve quarterly and annual investor reports Review and approve NAV strikes for capital call and share issuance Review and approve waterfall models, management fee, performance fee/carried interest calculations and investor allocations Support various MSIM teams for cross-border fund offerings and seek opportunities for automation of on-going operations to increase efficiency Conduct vendor service level review meetings and evaluate vendor's performance Onboard and offboard fund administrator vendors and their personnel Participate and spearhead various division wide strategic initiatives and continuous assessment of service operating models for optimization Coordinate and provide non-financial data required by the business unit such as customer flows, assets under management (AUM), validation and commentary, enforce business rules, etc. Bachelor Degree in Accounting or equivalent Public accounting and / or fund administration experience preferred 8-12 years of relevant fund accounting experience including financial statement preparation in private credit & equity, real estate and/or infrastructure businesses with close end and opened end structure preferred Self-motivated, professional demeanor and desire to learn Team player with strong communication skills and be able to manage resources in different time zones Ability to multitask and demonstrate problem solving skills in a fast-paced environment Highly motivated and detail-oriented individual Well organized, quick learner, flexible and pro-active, and strong work ethic High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office Applications Our values - putting clients first, doing the right thing, leading with exceptional ideas, committing to diversity and inclusion, and giving back - aren't just beliefs, they guide the decisions we make every day to do what's best for our clients, communities and more than 80,000 employees in 1,200 offices across 42 countries. Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $150,000 and $200,000 per year at the commencement of employment.
