> Candidate will become Tooling Engineer/SME of specific Fault, Configuration Management, Accounting, Performance or Security Management Tools (FCAPS) during it's specific lifecycle phase: Accounting and Security Management Tools are Vendor specific AAA (Authentication / Authorization / Accounting) Tools that ensuring the fact that only the specific user or system accounts can enter and authorized to the network devices and recording the logs (TACACS / RADIUS) Configuration Management Tools are either Vendor or Developed Utilities / Scripts that entering to the network devices through CLI / API methods, discovering the devices and collecting diagnostics / execute specific commands. Fault and Performance Management Tools are Alerting / Performance Management Tools, that are mainly Vendor Products to discover, poll the network devices or receiving SNMP traps / alerts, telemetry information or syslog messages Manage Operations of FCAPS Tools Provide management and escalation point for Operation Automation. Ensure knowledge of tools and processes is shared across teams and that adherence to standards is maintained. > Proven background in leading network automation teams, having necessary hands-on experience to provide technical guidance where necessary. > Experience with Agile working practices and tutoring/coaching others. > 10+ years of experience automating network infrastructure tasks using shell and python (or other higher-level language). > 5+ years of experience automating networks using configuration management systems such as Ansible, Chef, Salt or Puppet. > 5+ years of experience with build pipelines such as Jenkins, Gitlab etc. > Understanding of how to programmatically interact with network devices and NMS systems via API (REST, SOAP, OpenAPI). > Understanding of data or voice network device configurations and common networking protocols to equivalent CCNA Level or above > Basic understanding of telecommunication devices / components (data network - routers, switches, wireless controllers, access points, firewalls, voice - modern pbx components - call managers / voice gateways) > Understanding of network management protocols, concepts, and enterprise infrastructure services (SNMP, Syslog, NTP, DNS, AAA/LDAP, API) > Understanding of Technical Asset Lifecycle Management Workflows, Vendor issued End of Life notices / Certification / Inventory / Component level of mgmt. > Previous experience of using Enterprise infrastructure components (Server Operating System or Hypervisor or Container or Storage or Network or Enterprise Authentication Methods) > Understanding any of the specific FCAPS / Network Management Tools such as Cisco ISE, Cisco Crosswork / NSO, Cisco DNA Center, Cisco NDFC, Cisco Prime Infrastructure, Ansible Automation Platform, HP Network Automation, Spectrum, SevOne, Splunk, Forward Enterprise, cPacket, Corvil, Radware. > Understanding any of the specific infrastructure technologies (Linux Server Operating System - Redhat Virtualization - VMware ESXi, Container and Orchestration Technology - Docker OpenShift Kubernetes) > Understanding any of the specific enterprise authentication standards (LDAP or TACACS or RADIUS or Kerberos) > Understanding Redundant Server Architecture (RAID / Out of Band) > Experience in Asset Mgmt / CMDB administration > Strong organizational skills, customer service focus, attention to detail, and process orientation > Experience in additional Languages beyond Python (Perl or JavaScript) > API methods experience (REST or SOAP or JSON) > Experience with databases (SQL or NoSQl / MongoDB) > Experience with using enterprise reporting / data warehousing systems (Splunk) > Experience with integration toolsets managing a variety of networking hardware vendors. > Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing > Ability to distil and present information to business community in non-technical terminology > Business analysis skills, with the ability to forecast implications and provide consultative recommendations and solutions > Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and manage operational lifecycle #LI-LV1 #BPTECH #LI-hybrid Our values - putting clients first, doing the right thing, leading with exceptional ideas, committing to diversity and inclusion, and giving back - aren't just beliefs, they guide the decisions we make every day to do what's best for our clients, communities and more than 80,000 employees in 1,200 offices across 42 countries.
