Managing Director - Finance

The Head of Finance India will help drive the department's strategic initiatives in India as well as managing ongoing operations within the department. This will include the execution of business strategy and developing analytical insights to support key decisions for the Finance department. Additional responsibilities will include overseeing and managing the operations of the Finance organization in India, ensuring appropriate staffing levels for the department as well as monitoring and managing the performance of the staff. The India Head of Finance will help ensure thoughtful operational processes, will help develop solutions that drive efficiency and help mitigate operational risk within the division. Will oversee the management and functioning of the local business, activities and operations carried out in Finance division. Will be responsible to review and evaluate current operational processes and improve efficiency to internal clients in Finance activities. Will continue to manage resources including personnel, office/space management and resource prioritization. A good understanding of the business (both at the Firm level and Finance level) with at least 15 years of experience in financial services or general management. Strong experience in managing multiple agendas across various BU and infrastructure senior stakeholders. Ability to drive key initiatives and deliver superior results through influence. Ability to work in both team and individual settings, excellent people skills. Ability to see the "big picture" for the GC by connecting inputs, conversations across BU and infrastructure leads. Must be able to multi-task and be nimble with changing priorities. Strong Communication Skills at Executive level. Strong organizational and project management skills. Attention to detail as appropriate. Experience working in an international environment and with remote teams across the globe would be a bonus.
