Mainframe (Cobol, JCL, DB2, CICS) Developer - Director - Software Engineering

Implement in-house microservices for WMPT Platform. Conduct intense code-reviews and follow best coding practices. Design and develop Mainframe/Java applications as well as multi-tier supporting all retirement business lines. Collaborate with multiple technology teams that are upstream and downstream to the application which include Data Warehouse, Banking and firm's GL system etc. Work as part of a retirement Agile Squad. Work in Agile development methodologies, collaborating with business and technology teams located globally. At least 5 years knowledge in Cobol, JCL, DB2, CICS is a must In-depth knowledge of SQL Server, JavaScript, Angular, jQuery, Python and CSS. Good understanding of Mainframe Batches and Stored Procedures Practical experience with Web API, Junit/TDD, KAFKA, GIT, and Team City. Strong knowledge of CI CD Pipelines, Code quality analysis tools like Sonar, find bug. Strong understanding of database analysis & design including SQL, indexes, and query tuning. Ability to analyze the business requirement and define the appropriate design with respect to data modeling, configuration, and customization of applications. Practical experience with data model designing and modeling tools. At least 2 years of hands-on experience as Java Developer building enterprise level applications using Core Java 1.8 or higher. At least 2 years of hands-on experience in Java EE design and programming, solid understanding of multi-tiered web-based applications. At least 2 years Retirement business knowledge is a must Working Knowledge of building applications in the Cloud. Working Knowledge of Unix/Linux and/or any scripting language. Exposure to JIRA or other ALM tools to create a productive, high quality development environment. Working knowledge of financial markets and Wealth Management.
