Libamg Core Strats - Associate - Institutional Equity Division

Strategists are key participants, together with traders and salespeople, in the revenue-generating activities of our Sales & Trading Division. Core Strategists provide the C++ quant library platform in which new product-specific valuation models are written. They ensure the speed, quality, consistency, and timely delivery of valuation models across all equity derivative products. We are looking for a strategist to help run and automate the continuous release process of our C++ valuation models. These valuation models are contained in a large library with dozens of active contributors which we aim to release weekly. We must extensively test the integration of each release candidate into many distinct release systems, identify all modeling changes, and provide reasonable impact estimates to the business and regulators. We want to automate many steps in this process, improve testing quality, and accelerate the turn-around time to achieve rapid delivery for the business. Create tools which: Build and package our library in the formats needed for integration into downstream systems. Analyze millions of test results, identifying key number difference patterns, and providing tools for further drill down. Track number differences back to the corresponding originating change. Provide miscellaneous workflow support for the release process. Coordinate with change authors to be sure that we know the importance, risk, and expected impact of each change. Coordinate library building and packaging along with corresponding technology components. Coordinate integration tests with downstream systems and review test results. Provide a summary of changes in each release for senior strat management to sign off. Engineering degree in a computing related field. At least one year of software development using python or a similar language. Linux command line tools such as "bash", "awk" and "sed". Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Experience working in a cross-functional teams, bridging technical & design perspectives. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Drive and desire to work in an intense team-oriented environment. Experience with containers (e.g., docker) and AWS cloud deployment. Experience with build systems (e.g., bazel, pip). Experience with continuous integration systems (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions) Our values - putting clients first, doing the right thing, leading with exceptional ideas, committing to diversity and inclusion, and giving back - aren't just beliefs, they guide the decisions we make every day to do what's best for our clients, communities and more than 80,000 employees in 1,200 offices across 42 countries.
