Legal Entity Controller - Director (equivalent to AVP)

- Collaborate with a varied group of colleagues in Finance and across the Firm - Responsible for and lead aspects of individual and team deliverables and projects, leveraging in-depth knowledge of Finance functional area, product and/or client segments - Adhere to the Firm's risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls; proactively identify ways to reduce risk in work - Act as a culture carrier; embody and set an example of the Firm's values and hold yourself and others accountable to Firm standards - Be accountable for key stakeholder relationships both internally and externally including: external auditors and regulators, Product Control, Treasury, Business Units, Company Secretarial and Tax. - Participate as required in relevant change initiatives and project work, including as a representative of the LEC team and / or as project management lead. - Provide oversight of risk and supervisory activity within the team, including legal entity rationalisation; risk and control assessments; and responding to requests from external agencies. - Support entities throughout their lifecycle; particularly on legal entity restructuring / business change initiatives. - In-depth knowledge of Finance functional area, product and/or client segment and technical skills, as well as of industry and competitive environment - Ability to operate independently with respect to most job responsibilities - Ability to provide positive and constructive feedback and innovate processes - An ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and contribute to projects which impact a variety of business and finance areas. - A rounded commercial approach to reporting and controllership, with proven skills in chasing issues through many layers to discover root causes. - An ability to manage your workload effectively, developing practical solutions to problems whilst balancing multiple issues and priorities appropriately and having flexibility when priorities change. - Excellent Microsoft Office skills and be able to summarize and present themes and results in a meaningful format. - At least 4 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role Our values - putting clients first, doing the right thing, leading with exceptional ideas, committing to diversity and inclusion, and giving back - aren't just beliefs, they guide the decisions we make every day to do what's best for our clients, communities and more than 80,000 employees in 1,200 offices across 42 countries.
