We're seeking someone to join our Risk & Information Management team as a Java Full-Stack Developer in Cyber Data Risk & Resilience.The Risk and Information Management (RIM) organization provides IT support to the Morgan Stanley Legal and Compliance division. In the Technology division, we leverage innovation to build the connections and capabilities that power our Firm, enabling our clients and colleagues to redefine markets and shape the future of our communities. This is a Java Full-Stack Developer position at Associate level, which is part of the job family responsible for developing and maintaining software solutions that support business needs.Since 1935, Morgan Stanley is known as a global leader in financial services, always evolving and innovating to better serve our clients and our communities in more than 40 countries around the world.What you'll do in the role: Daily responsibilities include, transforming requirements into code, attending scrum meetings, reporting on project status, and learning our in-house frameworks and best practices.We are looking for a strong full stack developer to join our team and help deliver key initiatives. The applicant will be working with an energetic team of highly intellectual and creative developers who work on bleeding edge projects using a variety of different technologies. What you'll bring to the role: - 3+ years of hands-on experience on Java/J2EE. Should be able to write optimized, efficient and clean code. - 3 years of hands-on experience designing web applications with experience using React, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript. - Strong Object-Oriented Programming and Design Pattern concepts with practical experiencing of leveraging the same during development. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Candidate should be able to design and implement solutions. - DevOps knowledge packaging and deploying web applications utilizing CI/CD, Jenkins etc. - Team player with strong attitude and work ethics. - Strong oral and written communication skills. Candidate is expected to work with global teams - Write unit tests that exercise all major logic components of the code.
